Take challenging courses in high school, have a high school GPA of about a 3.4 or higher, an ACT score of about a 25 or higher and you'll most likely get in.

MSU gives you a high ranking education without the high ranking admission requirements. I transferred in with a 3.4 from a regional university. Make sure you take pre-calc and college writing before you apply to transfer.

Be yourself; share your story. Be an individual and not a carbon copy of a "typical high achieving high schooler." Nearly all colleges look for ambitious students who have something they want to tell the world, something they want to change, and some purpose for learning. Even if you are unsure about what direction you want your studies to follow, a desire to learn can move people. Express yourself!
