I had very high standardized test scores, good grades and challenging courses in high school. I was very involved in hs: captain of baseball team, many club activities, NJ State History Fair winner, band, School newspaper, etc.

Make sure to differentiate yourself in your application. They are looking to build a diverse and exceptional student body. The applicant base just gets more competitive every year. Being a girl applying to McCormick doesn't hurt either!
