I personally received a 22 on the ACT. I only took it once. I recommend that other people take the ACT more than once, as it will definitely increase your score...time management is key for the ACT.

3.2 GPA, I took a few honors classes during sophomore year and two college courses during my senior year. Please have at least some sort of involvement in EC's.

I applied for the Nursing program and did not get in as a first year student. It is apparent that you need at least a 23 on the ACT to get into that program. Don't get discouraged if you aren't admitted to the nursing program the first time around!

If you feel insecure about your GPA or test scores, writing an interesting essay will surely help. I wrote about my trip to a cadaver lab at another university, and how it has influenced me to pursue a career in healthcare. Make sure at least one teacher and one peer reviews your essay before you submit it.
