I worked really hard in high school and was at the top of a large class. I had many activities and excelled in each. I had top scores on standardized tests. These are the qualifications you need to be accepted to Penn.

I think the most important thing is your "Why Penn?" essay. Just produce some garbage about the spirit of the university or something and make it sound all buttery and you should be in no problem (assuming you have good stats).

The essays are the most important thing; work on them, work hard, but be honest and true to yourself. I learnt more about myself writing it than in two years of IB.
